How to download TikTok videos with SnapTik

Save TikTok videos, audio, and photo albums with these step-by-step SnapTik instructions. The screenshots show the actual download form and result buttons, so you can follow along on your device. Learn how to paste a link, select MP4 or MP3, find your saved files, and download photos as an album or slideshow.

Download a TikTok file in three steps

Open your chosen video or photo post in TikTok, select Share, then Copy link. Bring that link to SnapTik and follow the three highlighted steps below.

  1. Put the post URL in the link field

Return to the SnapTik homepage and select the link field shown in the first image. Paste the copied post URL using your device's normal paste action or the available paste control. Submit one post link at a time, rather than a profile address or several links together.

  2. Press Download to load the result

Select Download, the button highlighted in the second image. SnapTik loads the preview and download options for your link. Keep the page open until the result appears, then check the thumbnail and creator name before choosing your file. You can select video or audio from the same result when both are available.

  3. Choose the available file and save it

On the result page, choose Download Video (.mp4) for the video or Download Audio (.mp3) if an audio option is available. These are separate choices. Confirm any browser save prompt, let the transfer finish, then check the browser download list or your device's file manager for the completed file.

Where to find the file after downloading

A completed download may not appear in your photo gallery. On iPhone or iPad, check Files and the browser's download list. On Android, check Downloads in your browser or file manager, or the location you selected when saving.

On a computer, use your browser's downloaded item to locate the folder. Play the file before moving it. To add it to another media library, use your device's supported import or save options.

When the result is a photo album

For a photo post, choose individual JPEG files or download the full album as ZIP. Open or extract the archive with your file manager to view its contents. A ZIP is a container for files, not a video format.

For a video version, select optional slideshow rendering and wait until it is ready. Choose a photos-only album or a ZIP with photos plus the rendered MP4. Keep the page open during this additional processing.

If a result is missing or a transfer stops

Open the original TikTok post again and copy a fresh share link. Paste the link for that specific post, rather than a profile or hashtag page. If the post has been deleted or access is restricted, choose another video that you can save.

For an interrupted download, check your connection and free storage before trying again. Wait for the current request to finish, then choose the file from the result page. An audio button appears when an audio file is available from the source.

Which link should I use, and do I need my TikTok password?

Copy the link from Share on the TikTok video or photo post you want to save. Paste it into the SnapTik link field and select Download. You do not need to sign in to TikTok or enter a password; the post link is enough to start.

Which quality will my downloaded video have?

The video keeps the quality available from its source; downloading does not increase the original resolution. Play the completed MP4 to check its picture and sound. For editing or sharing, use your own content or obtain the creator's permission before reusing their video or music.
